Somebody has to be using Mackie Control with PT, right?

I wanted to know if anyone here at the user conference is using the Mackie Control with their Pro Tools LE rig. I've got a G4 533 running a DIGI001. My main MIDI controller is a K2500S and I've got a few other pieces of MIDI gear. I interface all the MIDI using the MOTU Midi Time Piece AV. I really like the idea of the Mackie Control for a low cost control surface. I've read some good things about the Mackie Control, but have not heard any real info on how well it works with PT. I know a HUI owner that loves the HUI's interaction with Pro Tools, he's running a HD system. But it still interfaces via MIDI. Anybody got any comments. I would really appreciate your help Thanks! Works like a dream. We have Pro Tools 6.0.1 running on 1 Ghz G4's with 1.25 GB RAM...and the Mackie Control. I absolutely love working with it. The faders are nice and responsive...transport controls are snappy...Scrub works great (if that's your thing). Overall I'd say it's worth the investment.

Hey, Thanks for the input. I have been researching this for a few days and really appreciate your comments. Do you have alot of control with plug-in parameters? Can you create new tracks from the MC interface? Thanks, CIGAM
