(I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong forum) I've been having a really weird issue with my VSTs for a while now, and I'm finally frustrated enough to try and fix it. Here's the problem: Let's say I have Kontakt 4 loaded up (the problem seems to occur no matter what VST is loaded) and I'm playing the instruments through a midi keyboard. Everything is working perfectly fine, until the sound from Kontakt just randomly stops working. I can no longer hear the instruments. I can see the input from my keyboard coming in, but there's simply no sound. It's completely random, and the only way I can get the sound back is by reloading the whole instrument. Any help would be much appreciated!
What is your interface/sound-card? Have you checked for newer drivers for it? Do you have any other application open while working with reaper? Is this a laptop? Do you use wireless internet while working with Reaper?

M-Audio Fast Track II. I have the latest drivers. No other applications open. Desktop. And no wireless internet. Also, now that I'm paying more attention, the sound seems to stop working after I stop the project. Like if I write a little of music, play it back, and then stop it, that's when the sound stops coming from the VST.
Can you post the rpp file, the Reaper file you click to open a project? I don't need any media or audio, but I'd like to open the project file to see more details on how things are set up.
Not the whole project, just the rpp file. If you zipp it and it's still too big, use something like and upload the link. But this is a great way for [people to help you troubleshoot.
Make sure that your track isn't muted. Reaper will automatically mute a track if the input volume exceeds something like +18dbs. This has happened to me a few times when I have a really low oscillating frequency. It'll peak out and the track will auto-mute. Never figure out what's wrong until I pull up the mixer.
