Is it possible to avoid this audio glitch?

It is relaed to opening plugins UI. Changing to ASIO, WASAPI or directsound does not help much. Just a different sounding glitch. Increasing buffer size makes it sound different but not dissapear. Tried all buffer sizes. Changing audio thread priority also does not help.

Back to basics. Have you run resplendence.com`s latency checker recently? It could well identify the cause.

Yes, my system is good with DPC. 371 when doing that action. Sould be alright. It is something different. Like plugins opening interfaces. Like UI freezing for a while. Really never cared to fix it but I do not think it is normal.

I would try looking at graphics...maybe your card has some kind of quality/performance ratio control or you can try to change up the hardware acceleration settings.

Preferences>Plugins>VST you can try this option "bypass audio while opening plug-in windows" instead of glitching it will silence for a moment.

Tried setting up the plugins to show the generic UI and indeed, glitches are gone. It is surely related to graphics.
